I live in Albany now, after spending most of my life in Jeffersonville, VT. I have been drawing since childhood, and have specialized in animals, but have done a few landscapes and other subjects.  Most of my work is done in colored pencil, with acrylic added for detail, or vice versa.

I am beginning to use pastels and colored pencils together lately.  As time goes by I hope to come up with a certain technique in using pastels that I enjoy.  My other interest is working in wood.  I have made a few "welcome" signs out of wood, and hope to make more.  I am still learning how to get detail work done, and plan on coloring the subject matter with paint, or pencil, and leave the rest natural. So far I've done two pieces, and I am working on a third.

I am a member of the NVAA, and the Brian Memorial Gallery and Wooden Horst Art Guild.  I am looking for banks to hang my work in addition to the shows that these are organizations have.
