     Muriel Majarian has had an interest in art since childhood.  She is a retired insurance executive who continues to study art and takes classes at Shelburne Art Center where she also works as a volunteer. She admires the work of David A. Leffel and enjoys painting still life.  Locally, Muriel admires the work of Karen Winslow who taught a class at the Shelburne Art Center a few years ago. At present Muriel is enjoying working in oils although her preference is graphite drawing.
