JEANETTE FOURNIER Jeanette Fournier is a watercolor artist who now resides in the White Mountains area of New Hampshire. Growing up in the northern Vermont and New Hampshire areas, she spent a great deal of time in the woods observing and drawing nature. It was during this formative period when she began developing her artistic skills. She is essentially self-taught: however, as an adult she received formal drawing instructions from the Manchester Institute of Arts and at Studio 216 in Manchester, New Hampshire. She creates realistic watercolor paintings of animals and nature. The details found in her art are one of the hallmarks of her art and reflects a distinctive and original style not commonly found in watercolor. Her work has been accepted to the “Art of The Animal Kingdom”, a prestigious national wildlife art exhibition held annually in Vermont and her work hangs in private collections throughout New England. Her work has won several awards at numerous juried art exhibitions over the past 15 years. She is a member of the Arts Alliance of New Hampshire and the Northern Vermont Artists Association.
